The new Education Building will contain:

*17,000 square feet

*A real parish hall to accommodate 350 people

*10 classrooms for children

*A fully equipped kitchen

*Dedicated space for Good Shepherd program

*Adequate space for parish staff

*A library, choir room, and storage

*Expanded parking; along with more special needs parking

A preliminary design has been developed, based on a parish-wide needs assessment, in order to secure Diocesan approval of our plans and to determine cost estimates. A final design cannot be completed until the building fund is completed. Details of our needs assessment and building design are available at the rectory.

Construction will begin when we have at least 50% of the total cost estimate actually collected in cash (not pledges). We hope that pledges could be collected in three years.

You can send your completed pledge card to the rectory or dropped in the collection basket.

If you have any questions feel free to call the rectory or Don Huber (412) 366-7295 (H).

ST JOHN NEUMANN BUILDING CAMPAIGN 2003
St. John Neumann has acquired a reputation as a dynamic, forward-looking faith community. However, it has become clear that for St. John Neumann to advance
the quality of its spiritual life; to continue and expand
its ministries into a larger community, and to provide
a place for reconciliation and renewal, we must
expand our facility.

We believe that an expanded Education Building
will enhance the spiritual growth of our children,
strengthen our faith community, and allow us to
continue and expand our work into the larger community.
