Catholic Vision of Love

The Catholic Vision of Love (CVOL), a diocesan curriculum for all grades, increases our young people’s awareness so they can live in a safe environment. It teaches them to respect themselves and one another as precious creations made in God’s image.

The material is briefly introduced to 5th graders at their Bible Enthronement, a meaningful ceremony where they receive their own copy of the Holy Bible. Following that meeting, parents should read the letter explaining the goals of CVOL and the procedure for completing the lessons with their children. Each year we offer students in grades 6-8 a special session to complete all CVOL requirements. Students in those grades also have the option of completing CVOL online with their parents. Please see the letter that explains the process and the links to the lessons for each grade level below.
